Compounded GLP-1 medications—such as Tirzepatide and Semaglutide—are custom-formulated versions prepared by licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies when commercially manufactured products are unavailable, in shortage, or when a provider determines a compounded formulation is medically appropriate.
These pharmacies operate under FDA regulations and state pharmacy boards, and they follow strict standards for ingredient sourcing, purity testing, and quality control. Compounded medications themselves are not FDA-approved, but the compounding process is highly regulated.
Within my telehealth partnership, all GLP-1 prescriptions—including Tirzepatide and Semaglutide—are reviewed, approved, and individually dosed by licensed medical providers. When a compounded version is prescribed, it is dispensed only from FDA-registered 503A U.S. pharmacies that meet rigorous safety and testing requirements.

Semaglutide targets the GLP-1 pathway to reduce hunger and balance blood sugar. Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 and GIP pathways for enhanced appetite and metabolic support.

Microdosing Tirzepatide means using a very small, sub-therapeutic amount of the peptide to gently engage the GLP-1 and GIP pathways without the stronger appetite suppression or digestive side effects seen at full doses. The goal isn’t aggressive weight loss—it’s to support balanced hunger cues, smoother glucose regulation, and improved metabolic rhythm.

Based on your health intake, you may qualify for compounded GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. Depending on your health history and goals, additional peptide therapies may be added on to further support metabolic health, energy, or longevity — at their discretion.
